Martha Walton

According to Barbara Dickinson, a Martha Walton married a George Dixon in St Thomas the Apostle, Stanhope, on 5 July 1773. In a later communication she states that 'although the Parish register & the BTs show Martha's surname as Walton she is actually Martha Watson', with this link as evidence.

Barbara Dickinson notes that 'Martha Dixon wife of George of Pinfold House' was buried at St John the Baptist church, St Johns Chapel, Weardale on 19 July 1791.
