1841 census: living with husband and son in Rothwell. Her age is 25[–30], and she is said to have been born in the county (i.e Northamptonshire).

1851 census: living with husband, children, and mother-in-law on Castle Lane, Rothwell. Her age is 35, occupation is frame lace runner, and place of birth is Desborough.

1861 census: living with husband, children, and grandson on Moland Street, Birmingham. Her age is 44, and place of birth is 'Desbro', Northamptonshire.

1871 census: living with husband, children, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren on [...] Yard, off Great Hampton Row, Birmingham. Her age is 53, and place of birth is 'Desbro', Northamptonshire.

1881 census: living with husband and sons on 11 Bk 34 Hurst St (St Martin's parish), Birmingham. Her age is 64, occupation is unemployed lace maker, and place of birth is 'Desbro', Northamptonshire.
