Annie Maria Bradley
born 29 April 1874
  in Gloucester, Gloucestershire
died 26 March 1935
  in Gloucester, Gloucestershire

I have a copy of the birth certificate—she was born in Twyver Street.

1881 census: living at 46 Napier St, Gloucester, with parents and siblings. Age is 5, and place of birth is Gloucester.

1896: On marriage certificate she is 21, living in All Saints, Gloucester.

1901 census (Hart_Francis.tif) shows her at 28 Hopewell Street with her family.

Irene (or Roy or Leslie) thought her name was 'Annie Emily', but 1901 census, marriage certificate, and birth certificate agree on 'Annie Maria'.

According to Leslie Hart: 'Annie's origins are not known, but it is thought that she was a little more Welsh, not so much from her own speech, but from that of her brothers, Charlie and Fred, who lived in Twyver Street, Gloucester.'

She died of a brain haemorrhage. According to Royston Hart she died before her husband. Reg Chamberlain gives date and place of death (Gloucester Royal Infirmary).

Donald: 'Legend has it that the Bradleys had gypsy in them. Annie Bradley had luxuriant dark hair to the day she died.'
