I have a copy of her birth certificate. She was born in Littleworth, a district of Gloucester (near the docks).

Baptised 24th December 1837 in St Mary de Crypt, at which time her parents' abode is South Hamlet.

1841 census: living in Littleworth, Gloucester with parents and siblings. Age is 3, born in county.

1851 census: (as 'Anne') living in at 33 Littleworth Street, Littleworth, Gloucester with mother and siblings. Occupation is 'Errant Girl' [sic!]. Age is 13, born in Littleworth.

1858: at time of marriage she is described as 'of full age' and living at 34 Littleworth [no word 'street' or 'road'].

1861 census: living in Blaisdon with husband and lodger. Age is 24, and place of birth is Gloucester.

1871 census: living in Blaisdon with husband, sons, and lodger (Charles Reynolds, 32, woodcutter). Age is 32, and place of birth is 'Gloster'.

1881 census: living in Blaisdon with husband, sons, and lodger (William Ferris, 19, groom). Age is 43, and place of birth is Blaisdon.

1891 census: living at Wall Cottages, Blaisdon, with husband, sons, and lodger (Patience Parry, 76, widow). Age is 52, and no place of birth is given.

1901 census: living in Blaisdon, with husband and son. Age is 63, and place of birth is Gloucester.

1911 census: living at 28 Hopewell Street, Gloucester, with son Thomas and his family (she is a widow). Age is 73, and place of birth is Gloucester.

Leslie Hart can remember her death at 28 Hopewell Street, Gloucester 'in the late 1920s'. Solomon predeceased her. The death of an Ann A. Hart, aged 88, is recorded in the December quarter of 1925 in Gloucester (6a414).
