Thomas Pugh, a descendant of Mary Jane's brother tells me that in his family bible there is a record of Mary Jane, born 19 November 1872, who married a person with the last name Baron.

The death of a Mary Jane Baron aged 34 is recorded in Abergavenny district in the June quarter of 1908 (11a29).
