According to Barbara Dickinson, a Martha Walton married a George Dixon in St Thomas the Apostle, Stanhope, on 5 July 1773.

Barbara Dickinson notes that 'Martha Dixon wife of George of Pinfold House' was buried at St John the Baptist church, St Johns Chapel, Weardale on 19 July 1791.
