Luke Robson
born 1916
died very roughly 1986

Details from Maureen Brown (née Robson). Mentioned in postcards between his mother and father (at the front during WWI).

Maureen Brown states: 'Uncle Luke went to war and was captured by the Japanese. He was imprisoned in Burma and worked on the infamous Burmese Railway. He was almost totally deaf when he returned, due to the beatings he endured in the camp. Throughout his life he hated the Japanese and would not even allow anyone to park a Japanese car outside his house.'
