1761: Reg Chamberlain identified him as the John Hart baptised 19th March 1761 in Blaisdon to Thomas and Sarah (FHL Film Number: 91516). Sue Dobson agrees with this.

1841 census: living at 'Bell' [Farm?] in Blaisdon parish. He is a farmer, aged 80[–84], and was born in Gloucestershire.

1847: his burial, at age 86, is recorded in the Blaisdon parish register under 13 June.
